With the release of Brightness’ debut album Teething, the rising star shall be hitting the highway and performing at various locations across Australia. The musical project of Alex Knight, Brightness’ Teething is a collection of songs written by Knight as a way to regroup his experiences and “untangle himself” after moving back to Australia from London in 2015.
The second single from his well-received debut Oblivion, Talk To Me is an honest & intimate track for Brightness, accompanied by a music video from director Mclean Stephenson (of Gang Of Youths’ Strange Diseases, PVT’s Kangaroo & BAD//DREEMS’ Bogan Pride videos). Both the release of Oblivion and album track Waltz have led to national attention, resulting in invitations to share stages with the likes of Middle Kids, Cloud Control & Red Riders’ reunion show.
