Melbourne’s Box Rockets have a simple but adorable sound, a Strokes-influenced indie rock with wry undertones and a racing, guitar-driven rhythm. They plant the hook with the opening line, “I don’t think I’ll get her on my own,” and drag you along through a bubbling stream of verse and chorus, not one bit of the lead melody wasted. Very catchy, very cute.
