Start the week on a smoother note. Toff Tuesdays: Jazz Club pairs resident band Melbourne Improv Collective with DJ Colette, who plays before, after and in between sets so the groove never drops.
Head to the Carriage from 9pm for Antwin and Friends, the newest addition to the night. Antwin is a co-founder of Double Vision Events, so expect a fresh, well-tuned hand on the decks.

It’s your weekly dose of mambo rhythm! Can’t dance? No problem.
Mambo Wednesdays kick off with a free salsa class for all levels to get everyone in step, then the Salsa Social rolls into an evening of merengue, Latin DJs and reggaeton.
Stick around, because from 10pm the room flips into a full-blown club night, spinning world sounds from afro and Latin house to more reggaeton.
Entry is always free, tequilas are $12 all night long, and the best dancers on the floor walk away with drink cards.

Every Friday this October, Melbourne collective TRIDUØ moves into the Carriage Side with a rotating local lineup that’s all about rhythm.
Founded by DJ and producer Sørensen, the crew is obsessed with percussion-driven music built on the 3:2 polyrhythmic pulse, tracing the common ground between sounds from across the globe and every genre in between.
Sørensen closes out each night, joined across the month by Kahu, N.Y.A, Maxi Horta, Baby K, Marcelo, Glow, Mrs. Wallace, Nø Era, Sadiva and Mohit. Expect layered percussion and deep grooves, running from 9pm until 4am.

Put on your finest boots and cowboy hat, local rising country star Sarah Catalina is launching her new EP in style ‘Once You’ve Gone Country’ has already been getting some love on iHeart Country, but this is the official party and your chance to hear it live.
After placing in the Toyota StarMaker and killing it on the festival circuit, this young talent is going from strength to strength.
She’ll be supported by emerging country musician Ricky Wilson for a night of fresh country anthems and, if you’ve seen snippets from her video, a bit of bootscooting.

She wants you in the seats at Lost For Words, carried away with laughter at her jokes and stories for a special taping event.
Welbeck’s known for good-natured humour and an unstoppable gift of the gab. She toured in 2025 and has appeared on Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee, Question Everything and The Oxfam Gala.

Mr. McClelland’s Finishing School’s 18th Birthday

The Finishing School is now legal drinking age, so host and DJ legend Andrew McClelland is throwing a party.
Dress code is ‘dress up’, like school formal vibes but without the hip flask. Joined by special guests, they’ll curate from a broad church of pop music, with the eclectic taste of a good school disco.

‘Nothing is quite as it seems’ is the promise of the queer cabaret party, Nocturna.
It encapsulates everything from burlesque and comedy to the weird and wonderful experimental performances. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a party without DJs.
Dress in your most deliciously dark finery, they’ve hinted at some gorgeous prizes for Best Dressed. You’ll start at 7pm and emerge at 3am on Halloween itself.

Sleazy Little Thing: Halloween City

Sleazy Little Thing is back for Halloween, and this year it’s Vice City style, with Miami Vice-themed projections lighting up the room.
Think a sweat-soaked celebration of hedonism, heartbreak and dancefloor debauchery, soundtracked by indie sleaze, glitter-drenched disco and late-night house party tunes that’ll keep you moving till sunrise.
ARIA award winner Michael Badger and self-proclaimed expert-level Limewire user Hell Slaywood are on the decks. Add drink specials and giveaways, and you’ve got everything you need for a properly sleazy Halloween.
