Vocalist Amelia Evans has emerged as a major innovative vocalist in Melbourne. Amelia’s immediate popularity is reflected in her performing regularly at all major jazz venues.
Iconic Melbourne pianist Bob Sedergreen has been not only a supporter but mentor of Amelia’s work including playing on her recording of “The First song”, Amelia’s sensational debut album.
These days Amelia performs with her own group but we are presenting her with two outstanding musicians namely, bassist Annette Yates who is established as one of Melbourne’s finest bassist and also mentored by Bob.
On drums will be the energetic, Sam Young who plays regularly with Bob in the band BLOW. As all these musicians are highly skilled and eclectic this promises to be a night of pure joy!
