“Love when it’s in your veins, it affects your brain, ‘til you die in vain.” The second single from Familiar Stranger is afflicted with all kinds of hap-hazard rhyming, rushed out against a jubilant slapping beat. The music is MOR indie pop, but it is also careless and joyful and nice.
