COVID-19 has been more than unkind to the live music industry but Bluesfest sure isn’t taking it lying down. Next April, Bluesfest Touring will finally host long-awaited Australian tours from a handful of international acts who were set to hit our shores for the festival in 2020.

So far, they’ve locked in dates for George Benson, Patti Smith and Her Band, Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, Larkin Poe and The Wailers, with each of the acts set to hit Sydney and Melbourne in April 2022.

That’s not all, either. Bluesfest Touring have also revealed that they are currently working on scheduling new dates for Marcus King Band, LP and Morcheeba for next year, so stay tuned.

If you’ve got tickets already, hold onto them. Otherwise, you can still grab tix for next year’s show – but be quick.
