Bier and bants will be flowing at LOToberfest 2018

It’s that time of year again! The world’s most out-of-context festival is on the way, so you’d better get your dirndl dry cleaned and your stomach lined because Octoberfest is just around the corner. This year, The Ascot Lot is organising their own version – LOToberfest – which will bring you all the beer, all the bants, and even a fair few bratwursts on the first Saturday of October.

To get in the spirit of the traditionally German event, The Lot is setting up a sequence of long feasting tables for you and your mates to settle into and even make some new friends. Though a time for laughs, The Lot is keen to also educate you on some real German culture; authentic German bier and food is on the menu, including Rodenbach and Konig Pilsner on tap, and German bratwursts and pretzels from Fritz Weiners Food Truck.

There’s an outdoor garden bar and a beer garden that will be primed for a day spent sipping ice-cold hops in the sun. Additionally, live entertainment will play all day, with tunes rolling out from DJs Lloyd Jones and Fragile Future. However, if you’re hankering for something a little more your own vibe, chuck on some headphones and boog on down at the silent disco.

If this all weren’t enough, you can even bring your four-legged friends down to enjoy the day with you. LOToberfest is the only Octoberfest event where you can bring your doggo; it will be 100% pupper friendly, so bring your dachshunds, German shepherds, and boxers (or any other breed) for a heckin’ good time.

Exclusive to Beat readers, The Lot is offering 25% off tickets and a free stein upon arrival if you use the code ‘BEAT18’ at checkout. Get your gang together, and pay homage to the German gods of bier by cracking open a cold one with the crew.
