Bendigo is getting a new music festival

bam.jpeg

Adding to Victoria’s impressive range of music festivals, the team behind Mullum Music Festival and New South Wale’s Bello Winter Music will debut Bendigo Autumn Music — or BAM — next April.

The lineup announcement for the inaugural BAM is set to drop in the coming weeks, though the organisers have let slip that you can expect musicians and bands of the same calibre of past Mullum Music Festival and Bello Winter Music lineups such as Milk Carton Kids, Tash Sultana, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Saskwatch and Julia Jacklin.

Unlike your typical music festival, BAM will take place across 14 venues over four days with the aim of dedicating 30% of the lineup to local artists. There will be a range of ticketing options available, from full festival passes to single day tickets, with the festival organisers promising that there will be no porta-loos, gates, massive queues or bag searches at this live music event.
