Tell us about Gorilla Grill. Gorilla Grill has uniqueness about it. We mix a bit of American and Asian influence into our cooking technique and add the urban, street and sneaker culture into our concept.
Gorilla Grill was born when… Gorilla Grill started on the streets in Melbourne’s west in 2014. We roam the streets of Melbourne doing street trading and things like festivals and events.
If you could match a tune to Gorilla Grill, what would it be? There are a few but at the moment it’s DJ Khaled’s All I Do Is Win. It’s more of a motivation to keep going and pushing yourself no matter if you’re doing well or struggling.
What are you most proud of at Gorilla Grill? We have come a long way throughout the years but we are really proud about our bricks and mortar – finally having our permanent spot after putting so much work, blood, sweat and tears into it.
What is the most ordered burger? At the moment our chicken products seem to be going crazy. Our Krusty Chicken burger is doing really well. And for our chicken n waffle, say no more.
