Tell us about Burgerlove. Burgerlove was born out of the mythical cult burger house known as Cafe 51. Regarded as the ‘hidden gem of Melbourne’s burger scene’, we were known for being the OG creators of iconic burgers like the Paralyzer and The Meataxe.
Burgerlove was born when… Our head burgerologist decided to share his passion and love for burgers with Australia. The year was 2011.
Mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard or all? All: the holy trinity when it comes to burgers. Although we do replace plain mayonnaise with our house made aioli.
Where does Burgerlove turn to for inspiration? We turn to our customers. It makes sense, it’s all about them. Our original concept of #instaburgers created by the customers has now evolved to a systematic in-house burger creation program, #buildyourownburger #byob.
What do you love about the Melbourne burger scene? It’s so dynamic and exciting. There are so many new and passionate places to try with new ideas and creations.
