Wednesday night sees Viola Filippini take the stage from eight for an intimate, soul-stirring performance. Prior to establishing herself in Melbourne, she performed as a busker and session-musician in Port Douglas, and her ethereal vocals and stripped-back arrangements have already begun to turn heads. Blending elements of indie folk and jazz-infused pop, her sound carries both vulnerability and quiet strength — we reckon she’ll hold Baxter’s storied walls in attentive silence!
