Bodriggy are stoked to welcome Batavia Collective (BTVC) for the final show of their Australian tour.
BTVC is a musical force to be reckoned with. Comprised of Elfa Zulham on drums, Doni Joesran on keys, and Kenny Gabriel on synth bass, this Jakarta-based trio draws influence from an array of musical styles, ranging from future jazz to electronic soul to liquid funk, and beyond.
The trio present genre bending music that combines mind-altering synths, snazzy chord progressions, deep sub-bass, energetic grooves and neck-breaking tempos to produce a sonic feast that excites the body and stimulates the mind.
The Indonesian trio are excited to be playing on our shores, following their release on R&S records last year.
Playing after BVTC are the Tony Soprano Band, consisting of key figures of Melbourne’s music scene: Lucky Periera, Dan Rock & Moses Carr.
