What is it? The Ballarat Beer Festival is back for another year, bringing over 200 of the world’s finest craft beers with it. More than just beers though, the festival is the perfect day to kick back and enjoy some golden summer vibes while sipping your way into a state of craft beervana along with more first-rate entertainment than ever before.
What type of entertainment will be on deck? Performing at this year’s festival will be Dallas Crane, Blues Brothers, Riflebirds, The Houndlings, Michael Meeking & the Lost Souls, This Way North and Davey Lane returns as part of Thee Gravy Train Four.
What type of food can be expected? Held the night before the festival, Bintani’s Friday Night Degustation Dinner allows you to get up close and personal with the brewers before tucking into a five-course menu served with perfectly matched beers. Hosted by The Beer Diva and Professor Pilsner, the degustation dinner will feature some delectable dishes including crispy pork hock croquettes, salted lime cured fresh swordfish on a shaved fennel salad, and more. Not to mention countless food stalls ranging from Cajun cuisine to woodfired pizza and gourmet burgers.
What brewers will be showing up? It’d be easier to say who isn’tshowing up. The list rolls on with boundless quality, with limited releases from Coopers and Bells Beach Brewing as well as Brooklyn Brewery, Grand Ridge Brewery, La Sirene, Mildura Brewery, Little Rivers and a veritable who’s-who of the craft brewing scene.
