There’ll be two rounds a year, usually in March and September.
Arts Victoria points out, “For musicians and music organisations, the VicArts Grants presents a broader opportunity for funding music activities of all genres, shapes and sizes. Support can be sought for nearly every component of an artist’s career- including recording, touring, presentation and promotion.”
The maximum level of funding available has increased from $15,000 to $20,000 for individuals and $75,000 for organisations. The criteria for which projects are funded and which applicants are eligible has been widened.
