"Buzzing to be back on the road again for the 'Big Overdrive' tour."

Touring in support of their most recent album Big Overdrive, legendary Australian trio Art vs Science are hitting the road later this year. Catch them when they head over to Melbourne, for a show on November 18 at The Espy. They’ll also be appearing at Illuminate The River alongside Baker Boy, Something For Kate and more, for a free all-ages festival.

  • November 18 – The Espy, Melbourne
  • November 19 – Illuminate The River, Melbourne
  • November 25 – The Newy, Newcastle
  • December 2 – Top Floor Nightclub, Mandurah
  • December 3 – Freo.Social, Fremantle
  • December 8 – La La La’s, Wollongong
  • December 9 – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
  • December 17 – Wine Machine, McLaren Vale

“We’ve got one criterion and that is to make music that we find interesting, either because it’s weird or it’s ethereal in a certain way or it touches on things that are relevant to our personal lives… but mainly it’s weird,” vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Dan “Mac” McNamee told us in 2011.

“The big thing for us is that nothing is programmed – everything is played live. We want it to sound tantalising to the ear, but we also want it to retain its grungy band-in-a-room character.”
