Making its triumphant return to the banks of the Maribyrnong with their biggest lineup ever, Illuminate the River will return for a huge nine hour event - all for free.
With Yolngu superstar Baker Boy, iconic Melbourne trio Something for Kate, electronic dance mavericks Art vs Science, art-pop singer Montaigne, indie-pop singer Mia Wray and kid favourites the Teeny Tiny Stevies taking over the main stage for Illuminate the River, it’s set to be a huge festival. It all goes down for free on November 19, taking over the the banks of the Maribyrnong River for nine hours of music as well as a plethora of family-friendly activities.

Presented as part of On The Road Again, a Victorian Government Initiative aimed at bringing back live music across the state, this is the biggest, boldest and most audacious lineup in Illuminate the River’s three year history. There’s also going to be an inflatable regatta, carnival rides, kids’ activities, food trucks, a beer garden and extravagant laser and water show on the river.
