Architecture in Helsinki will premiere their new album Moment Bends by streaming it live on triple j online.
The album is already available on triple j’s site so that fans are able to stream the entire album before its official release this Friday April 8 in conjunction with Modular Recordings.
Following the success of their last album Places Like This, which included ARIA Award nominated single Heart It Races, the band recorded Moment Bends over a two year period. The first video release for their new single Contact High caused quite a stir with its ‘hands-on’ video clip (above) that would rival Lady Gaga’s trippiness.
In addition to the triple j streaming, Architecture in Helsinki haved launched a series of videos via their iTunes Ping page which gives a track-by-track insight into the formation of the album.
The release is perfectly timed with the band’s apperances at this years Groovin’ the Moo festival beginning April 30 in Bendigo. Straight off the back of the festival tour, Architecture in Helsinki will be headlining their own five-show tour which arrives in Melbourne on May 26.
If you like what you hear on triple j online, you can catch Architecture in Helsinki at Melbourne’s Hi-Fi Bar on May 26. Tickets are available now through the Hi-Fi’s site.
