Looking back at Gudinski’s incredible impact on the Australian music industry and his contributions to the arts industry, music photographers are invited to submit photographs of artists under the Mushroom Group and Frontier Touring umbrella to be featured as part of the exhibition.

Held at Ballarat Mechanics’ Institute, a fitting venue which totes a rich music history, Number One | Michael Gudinski will be in great company at the premier photographic arts festival.

The Ballarat International Foto Biennale has also announced two new international headline artists to be featured at this year’s event: Salvador Dali protégé and revolutionary figure, Steven Arnold, and renowned French photographer Alix Marie, who will showcase a new body of work in a world premiere.

They join the previously announced exclusive Linda McCartney: Retrospective, which was revealed last year, with the full program to be unveiled in June.

Returning for its 16th year running, the Ballarat International Biennale will take over galleries, buildings, and streets throughout Ballarat across eight weeks in a mammoth showcase of photographic works.

The Ballarat International Foto Biennale is happening across Ballarat from August 28 – October 24. Tickets are on sale now.
