Tech-house luminaries Âme and Dixon are coming to Port Melbourne alongside Panaroma Bar resident Paramida for an epic Smalltown event in May.
The Innervisions label bosses are coming to Melbourne on May 28 from 3pm to 11pm, for what promises to be a masterclass in blurring the line between techno and house, dance music and avant-garde electronica.
They’ll be joined by highly-regarded Berlin-import Paramida at the industrial centre-turned-electronic event mainstay Port Melbourne Industrial Centre for the Arts (PICA), as well as local support Marli.

Âme (the duo of Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer) and Dixon (Steffen Berkhahn) are among the most influential DJs and producers of the current era. Beyer is a veteran globe-trotting DJ, while Wiedemann traditionally tended to favour the studio, a pattern which will re-emerge when Beyer represents the pair in Melbourne.
Beyer’s usual touring partner however is Dixon, a perennial figure at the top of Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJs, and was the dominant force in the global techno scene in the mid-2010s.
Perhaps the lesser known name for many Australians, although her association with Berghain means she’s no stranger to critical acclaim, Paramida moved to Berlin in 2010 and has since made an impact to the local club scene with a distinctive and sensualizing approach to music.
Blending proto-house to trance, percussive gems with high-energy techno, Italian dream house and irresistible new beat – Paramida is truly committed to digging. The Panorama Bar resident’s taste is also the guiding spirit at the heart of Love On The Rocks, the label she founded in 2014.
