The Alexander Nettelbeck Trio (watch) The Alexander Nettelbeck Trio are a synergy to be reckoned with. They have performed in Europe and Australia including at Tuscia In Jazz Italy and Piwinica Pod Baranami Jazz Festival, Poland. The trio will perform new material from their forthcoming album ‘Back Home’ a groove laden excursion into Electric Future Funk, Afro Beat, Soul Jazz, and Cinematic Dub Rock.
STAT (watch) Stella Anning (she/her) has had a versatile career performing with a variety of artists and has established herself as a guitarist, singer, composer, bandleader, improviser and performer.
In 2022 Stella released an EP of her most recent project ‘STAT’ (Stella Anning Trio), performing all Stella’s original compositions. The trio performed for MIJF 2023 and have performed at venues around the country including Lazybones (SYD) and the Ellington Jazz Club (PERTH).
Stella is currently the guitarist and backing vocalist for John Flanagan, Sal Kimber, ISEULA and is guitarist for the Jazzlab Orchestra and Women of Soul.
Joining Stella is Richard Rose on bass and Lewis Pierre on drums. Stella is endorsed by Cole Clark Guitars 2023.
