Alanis Morissette announces Australian headline shows

She’ll bring Jagged Little Pill to Sydney and Melbourne in April.

After joining the Bluesfest lineup just last week, Alanis Morissette has revealed two Australian headline shows as part of her 2020 World Tour celebrating 25 years of her seminal debut album, Jagged Little Pill.

Released in 1995, Jagged Little Pill stands strong as a decade-defining masterpiece 25 years on. A testament to Morissette’s power as a songwriter and musician, the record boasts fan favourites such as ‘Ironic’, ‘You Oughta Know’ and ‘Perfect’.

In the years since making her debut, Morissette has released nine more acclaimed albums and collected seven Grammys, though her 2020 World Tour will see her returning to her roots to revisit Jagged Little Pill in full.

If that’s not enough, Morissette’s Australian shows will see her joined by fellow beloved songwriter and Bluesfest favourite, Julia Stone, on support duties.

Expect singalongs aplenty across these two special nights.

Alanis Morissette comes to Qudos Bank, Sydney on Saturday April 11 and Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne on Wednesday April 15. Tickets are on sale from 10am on Friday February 7 via Live Nation
