Indo Warehouse returns to Australian stages with three shows blending South Asian culture and electronic music.
The New York-based collective, record label and experiential series will perform across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this September, presented by Untitled Group. Indo Warehouse has established itself as a boundary-pushing force in electronic music, creating what they term Indo house – a genre that fuses deep-rooted South Asian rhythms with contemporary house music.
The tour follows Indo Warehouse’s groundbreaking appearance at Coachella 2025, where they became the first South Asian electronic music collective to perform at the festival. Label founders Kahani and Kunal Merchant led performances across both weekends, with fans dubbing the sets Indochella in recognition of their cultural significance.

Since launching in New York in 2022, Indo Warehouse has rapidly expanded globally with a 10-city India tour and sold-out performances across Africa and Asia. The collective showcased their signature sound at two events during Amsterdam Dance Event, cementing their international reputation.
Australian audiences first experienced Indo Warehouse in 2024 with a packed performance at Sydney’s Liberty Hall and a sold-out show at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre. The positive reception demonstrated strong local appetite for their culturally-infused electronic music approach.
The collective’s Indo house genre represents more than musical innovation – it serves as cultural celebration, honouring South Asian heritage while pushing electronic music boundaries. This fusion has resonated with diverse audiences worldwide, establishing Indo Warehouse as leaders in cross-cultural electronic music.
The September tour will feature the collective’s immersive blend of traditional South Asian elements with modern house production. Brisbane audiences will experience Indo Warehouse as part of Brisbane Festival programming, adding cultural diversity to the major arts event.
