ACMI is hosting a two-day superhero symposium


The two-day event will feature industry interviews, panels, and presentations from over fifty experts, where superhero scholars will unmask the mysteries behind the most familiar comic book faces as well as the lesser-known underdogs. 

Keynote speakers include University of Southern California’s Professor Henry Jenkins, who wrote the book on various fan and transmedia research; Paul Dini, the Emmy Award-winning writer of Batman: The Animated SeriesBatman: Arkham Asylum, and Mad Love; and Eisner Award-winning graphic novelist Hope Larson, who has recently jumped on board as the writer of DC Comics’ reimagined Batgirl
