A week-long Nick Cave film festival is hitting Melbourne

Nick Cave fans, pencil this into your diary.

The Thornbury Picture house is dedicating an entire week to Australian legend Nick Cave — screening a cinematic tribute that encompasses Cave’s work over documentaries, film scores, music videos, short films, and Cave’s own favourite movies.

Arriving as a self-contained mini film festival, it’s the ultimate cinematic indulgence for both longstanding lovers and newcomers to the genius of Nick Cave.

Screenings include The PropositionOne More Time With Feeling and Wake In Fright. Plus, a special Friday Night ‘Nick Cave Mixtape’ screening dives deep into the personal vaults of Nick Cave, unearthing early music videos, short film interpretations, live sessions and more — spanning work from the Boys Next Door to Grinderman and everything in between.
