Pop-up Globe as it’s called will showcase four of the mastermind’s works over eight weeks, including As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing, Othello and Henry V.
More than 200,000 people have already experienced Shakespeare in the Pop-up Globe overseas and this will be the first time it makes its way to Australia.
A theatre based on 400-year-old design will stand at over 30 metres wide and three storeys high. It’ll weigh in excess of 100 tonnes and can hold 900 theatre-goers.
