Located in the former mess hall of Pentridge Prison, adjacent to its iconic Clocktower gate, North & Common has been meticulously reimagined into a cozy and inviting restaurant. With seating available for up to 180 guests both indoors and outdoors, the venue exudes warmth with its original bluestone walls, 10-meter-high ceilings, and restored cross timbers, providing a stunning backdrop for the culinary creations of Chef Mark Glenn.
Having honed his skills at renowned establishments such as Cumulus Inc, Dinner by Heston, and the hatted Pavilion Restaurant at Pialligo Estate & Smokehouse, Chef Mark Glenn returns to Melbourne to lead the kitchen at North & Common and its sister venue, Olivine.

From the enticing spanner crab risoni and the delectable grilled ox tongue with cashew cream to the flavoursome black barley and pine mushroom dish or the tantalising calamari with paprika dressing, there is something to satisfy every palate.
