The Coburg Velodrome will be holding Momo Fest – A dumpling festival with over 30 types of dumplings, live music and kids rides.

With last year’s festival attracting over 15,000 people, The Coburg Velodrome will be bringing back Momo Fest in March over three days.

Each of the three days will have a concept like Friday’s momo dinner and movies, main festival with momo, live music, colours, multicultural performances on Saturday and momo brunch with DJ music on Sunday.

The Nepalese version of dumplings are packed with flavour and the selection at Momo Fest will be huge. There will be an array of options including goat, lamb, beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and various vegetarian and vegan options.

Additionally, there will be popular local bands, workshops and performances in Latin moves, Bhangra beats, and hip hop Nepalese steps.

The festival will also have a celebration of Holi colours as a symbol of celebration of multiculturalism where people cover each other in coloured powders to signify the victory of good over evil and the arrival of the new season.

Momo Fest Dates:

Friday March 23 – Momo Dinner with Movies – 5pm to 10pm

Saturday March 24 – Main Festival Day – 11am to 10pm

Sunday March 25 – Momo Brunch – 11am to 5pm
