Their newest season at The Lume Monet and Friends Alive bring Monet and other famous French Impressionist painters to life at Melbourne’s first permanent, cutting-edge digital gallery. With the centrepiece of the exhibition being the famous Woman with a Parasol (1875), journey into this multi-sensory experience from the team behind their most recent Van Gogh interactive exhibition that took Melbourne by storm. Tickets go on sale from August 26, with the exhibition set to open on October 26.

With every surface becoming an animated canvas, The Lume is Australia’s first permanent digital gallery. Having just shown an exhibition dedicated to the works of Vincent Van Gogh, The Lume is full of sensory encounters, making a trip to the exhibition an adventure into art. Monet and Friends Alive will bring landscape and imagery from Monet, Cezanne, Renoir, Manet and many others, brining the life of French Impressionism to life.

With art being projected onto the walls and floors around the gallery, a journey to The Lume makes you feel like you’ve stepped inside a painting. With scents and sounds contributing to the full-sensory experience, it’s a vibrant and mesmerising space.
With sessions running from 10am on weekdays and 9am on weekends, the tickets are $39 for adults and it’s free for kids under four years of age.
