After taking a little summer break, Moor Music brings back The Jazz Doof for its sixth instalment.
Landing at Second Story Studios in Collingwood, The Jazz Doof Vol. 6 promises two rooms of distinct energy on Saturday 21 February. What started in Melbourne’s north as backyard gatherings has grown into a proper underground fixture, built on careful curation and genuine community.
Upstairs, live bands deliver jazz-dance, neo-soul and Afro-inflected rhythms throughout the evening. Downstairs, a low-lit rave space pushes into deeper, later territory as the night unfolds. Arrive early and let it stretch.

Beyond the music, a portion of every ticket goes to SANE Australia, supporting people living with complex mental health challenges. SANE offers free digital and telehealth services, peer support, online forums and recovery programs to help people feel understood and empowered.
Moor Music, founded in 2018 by Josh Olave and Charlie Woods, has championed untapped talent at the intersection of nu-jazz and modern electronic sound since its early days as a block party. The commitment remains the same: creating a safe, inclusive platform for artists from underrepresented backgrounds.
Second Story Studios provides the new home, with Northside Records and SANE Australia joining as collaborators for this edition.
Two rooms, multiple stages, one Collingwood night that stretches as far as you let it.
