A Hitch To The Sticks Festival returns

As if a festival involving hopping aboard a bus packed with punters and heading on a massive tour wasn’t ambitious enough, A Hitch To The Sticks Festival has announced it’ll be taking to the road a second time this year.

Covering over 700km in three days, with 50 adventurers aboard, A Hitch To The Sticks is the most unique way to experience a festival — or a road trip, for that matter.

Hosted by festival founder and musician Dallas Frasca, the Hitch bus will embark on its journey from Melbourne, hitting towns like Seymour, Moorngag, Lima East, Winton, Glenrowan, Wangaratta, North Wang and Moyhu along the way, stopping off at four huge public shows and six secret gigs for bus ticket holders.

The lineup is yet to be announced, though you can expect to stop off at some famous rural venues, pick up some celebrity hitchhikers along the way and come home with a busload full of tales to tell.
