An age-old tradition – perhaps most famously rendered these days at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Cafe – a writers’ round presents a  number of songwriters together on stage, taking turns. In an intimate and informal setting, they also interact, teasing more insight from  each other.

Taking on the same format across 14 dates, the “Sing a Song of Sixpence” however adds a unique instrumentalist or two to the proceedings, to help tease out more insight and to shine new lights and nuance on to the songs. A poignant and unpredictable experience, it enables artists to learn more about each other  – and themselves – and it gives audiences rare insight and access into the creative processes. And the magic.

A unique and entertaining heartfelt experience, “Sing a Song of Sixpence” will feature a different mix of the featured artists who will share the bare bones of their songs and the stories behind them in this intimate and informal setting across many of Victoria’s iconic regional towns.
