To celebrate, ACMI are holding the exhibition Margaret and David: 25 Years Talking Movies. As part of the exhibition, two special events will be taking place. As part of the ongoing Desert Island Flicks series, Margaret will reveal her top five films, along with a showing of respective clips. Not to be outdone, David will be a guest of Reviewing The Australian New Wave, appearing in conversation with celebrated filmmakers Jan Chapman, Phillip Noyce (via Skype) and Matt Caroll, as they revisit the Renaissance period of Australian cinema in the 1970s.
