Nickelback are playing in Melbourne and Geelong in 2027

Words by staff writer

Nickelback bring the Everything Under The Sun tour to Rod Laver Arena and a Geelong winery, with tickets on sale from 16 October.

The Everything Under The Sun run forms the Australian leg of a global tour that also sweeps North America, the UK and Europe across 2027. Nickelback named it after their new album, their 11th, which drops on 30 October through Virgin Music Group.

Lead single Rattle the Cage, a collaboration with guitarist John 5, recently hit number one on active rock radio in the US, and later cuts Leave Me Behind and Make Me Love You trade the big riffs for a slower, more melodic streak.

Don Broco join as special guests across the Australian run, arriving with a loud reputation of their own. The English four-piece have sold out Wembley Arena and Alexandra Palace and played festivals including Download and Reading & Leeds, folding rock, metal, post-hardcore and electronica into their sound. They recently teamed with Nickelback on Nightmare Tripping, the title track of their latest record.

Nickelback have spent recent years leaning into their divisive reputation, most openly in the Netflix documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback, which racked up weeks in the platform’s global top 10. Behind 2022’s Get Rollin’, the group delivered the fastest-selling and highest-attended tour of their career. Formed in Hanna, Alberta by Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair, the Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees have sold close to 65 million albums, pulled billions of streams and count more than 50 million monthly listeners. Their setlists stay stacked with How You Remind Me, Photograph, Rockstar, Someday and Burn It to the Ground.

Live Nation and Triple M present the run, with Face to Face Touring handling the two winery shows. Presales open from 13 October through Vodafone, Mastercard, Live Nation, Spotify and Westfield. General tickets go on sale 16 October at 10am local time, alongside a handful of VIP packages that bundle premium seats and pre-show extras.
