Good Things lineup 2026: Limp Bizkit, Simple Plan and Spiritbox lead the bill

This year’s Good Things lineup once again stretches from culture-shaping legends through to current scene-definers and emerging talent, with all three East Coast dates locked in as 16+ events. Australia’s largest travelling heavy and alternative music festival is back for another run across the summer.

Good Things Festival 2026 opens at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on 4 December before heading north, a routing that echoes the festival’s return to Flemington and a new Sydney home last year. More than 30 acts sit on the bill, spanning nu metal, pop punk, hardcore, metalcore and homegrown pub rock.

Limp Bizkit lead Good Things 2026

Limp Bizkit top the bill, returning after their 2023 appearances and sold-out Brisbane and Melbourne sideshows. The nu metal pioneers have built a towering, multi-generational reputation across a 30-plus year career, from their 1997 debut Three Dollar Bill, Y’all onward.

Their 1999 follow-up Significant Other hit number one on the US Billboard 200, earned two Grammy nominations and went seven-times platinum on the strength of Break Stuff and Nookie. The band’s 2000 album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water set the record for the fastest-selling rock album of all time, and 2021’s STILL SUCKS has kept them blitzing streaming charts. They played Download Festival in 2026 before locking in this Good Things headline slot.

Simple Plan, Spiritbox and the heavy hitters

Pop punk mainstays Simple Plan make their first Good Things return since the 2019 edition, now commanding more than 10 billion streams worldwide. Their multi-platinum 2002 record No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls delivered I’d Do Anything, I’m Just A Kid, Addicted and Perfect, later joined by Welcome To My Life, Summer Paradise and Untitled (How Could This Happen To Me?).

The Montreal quartet have raised more than $3 million through the Simple Plan Foundation and marked their 25th anniversary in 2025 with a co-headline run alongside The Offspring. Sharing the upper tier is Canada’s Spiritbox, who broke through with Holy Roller in 2020 and saw debut album Eternal Blue land at number 13 on the US Billboard 200.

Spiritbox have since earned three Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance – for Jaded, Cellar Door and Soft Spine – while 2025’s Tsunami Sea reached number 26 in the US and topped the UK Indie charts. Their arena-level production and skull-crushing heaviness first hit Australia at Knotfest in 2023.

Aussie acts across Good Things festival

Local talent runs deep. Sydney’s Polaris backed Linkin Park on a 2026 Australian arena run and bring their ARIA-nominated album Fatalism, which debuted at number one on the ARIA Charts and won Best Independent Heavy Album at the 2024 AIR Awards. Lismore’s Grinspoon arrive with a catalogue as familiar as anything on Australian radio, from Chemical Heart to Just Ace and Hard Act To Follow, having landed in the ARIA top 10 with all eight of their albums.

Sydney hardcore force Speed hit hometown crowds off the back of the inaugural NSW Music Prize in 2025 and sets at Coachella, Reading and Leeds. Slowly Slowly bring their indie-leaning pop punk after Forgiving Spree debuted at number eight on the ARIA chart, while Aussie rock royalty Choirboys wheel out Run to Paradise and Boys Will Be Boys. Brisbane’s Headwreck also return after a secret Stage 5 guest slot in 2025.

The rest of the Good Things lineup for 2026

Several acts bring full-album sets to the Good Things lineup. Alexisonfire perform Crisis in full for its 20th anniversary, while Millencolin play Pennybridge Pioneers front to back. Ministry, led by Al Jourgensen, use the festival to farewell Australia, with album number 17 due in October. The All-American Rejects, who pulled out of the 2025 festival due to a family loss, return with fifth album Sandbox for their first Australian shows in 17 years.

There’s plenty more where that came from. Chad Gray digs into his Mudvayne and Hellyeah catalogues, MxPx come back to Australia for the first time in 13 years, and nu metal veterans P.O.D. play their first local shows since 2018, armed with Youth of the Nation and Alive. Wrexham’s Neck Deep bring over 1.8 billion streams, The Devil Wears Prada showcase 2025’s Flowers, Bad Religion mark their 45 (+1) anniversary, and Bilmuri makes a swift festival return.

The undercard is rounded out by All Them Witches, The Black Queen, Future Palace, The Home Team, House of Protection, ivri, Kami Kehoe, Locked Shut, LØLØ, vianova and Indonesian metal trio Voice of Baceprot – plus the chaos of Stage 666. If the 2025 festival is any guide, expect a long, hot day that rewards early arrivals.
