The Audreys celebrate 20 years of a classic album at Brunswick Ballroom.
Two decades on, a beloved Aussie album is getting the anniversary treatment it deserves, at the gorgeous Brunswick Ballroom.
The Audreys are celebrating 20 years of Between Last Night and Us with a Melbourne show on 21 August.
The Adelaide five-piece formed back in 2004, and it didn’t take long for The Audreys to make their mark, with debut record Between Last Night and Us landing the following year and quickly becoming one of the most loved records to come out of the local blues and roots scene.
The album went on to win the ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots Album and achieved Gold status, cementing its place as a genuine modern classic of Australian music.

The Brunswick Ballroom show, presented by Wheelhouse Agency, will see the band dig back into that breakthrough record in full, alongside a run of highlights pulled from their wider catalogue.
It’s also a milestone with more weight than most anniversary shows carry, following the passing of founding member Tristan Goodall in 2022 – meaning the record now stands as both a celebration of a stunning debut and a tribute to the creative partnership behind it. Special guests are also set to join the bill on the night.
Alongside the tour, Between Last Night and Us is also being given a fresh physical life.
The album has been lovingly remastered by Alex Mader and pressed as a limited edition clear blue vinyl, housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve complete with an obi strip.
It’s a fitting way to mark the milestone, reconnecting longtime fans with the record that started it all while giving new listeners a reason to discover it for the first time.
More dates are expected to be announced later in the year, so it’s worth keeping an eye on the band’s socials for updates.
For now, Melbourne fans get first crack at hearing these songs performed live again, in a setting well suited to the intimacy the record has always carried.
