Platform is excited to present SYS_ERROR, an immersive audio-visual experience that questions what happens when human presence is translated into data by unstable systems that attempt to measure what cannot be contained.
Across multi-disciplinary installations, guests are invited to step inside this live computational space where movement becomes input, identity becomes metric, and sound becomes the signal driving the system toward overload.
Soundtracking the collapse, the room moves through techno, trance, hardgroove and dubtonic pressure from Gazhua, FLOW, mishLXY and Missé.
Joining the lineup is Eora/Sydney artist ONARSÉ, an emerging force in hard techno whose sets have been cutting through the scene with relentless momentum.
The visual and spatial system is led in collaboration with Nick Marriott, whose recent work spans across visuals for The XX at Coachella, Nine Inch Nails in their Grammy winning ‘As Alive As You Need Me To Be’ music video and A3 Festival. For SYS_ERROR, Nick works alongside Jessica Dang to shape the set design with a specific focus on lighting.
Also present in the system are works by A.A.A Studio*, Ann Nguyễn, Lucian Rodriguez Lovell, Sam Hayes, Studio Jacqui and Tim Osmond
