Against The Current formed in 2011, when vocalist Chrissy Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow and drummer Will Ferri were teenagers posting covers online. They put out their debut EP Infinity in 2014, followed by their first album In Our Bones in 2016 and Past Lives in 2018. A run of independence came after their 2021 EP Fever.
Their 2024 singles silent stranger, blindfolded and good guy pulled more than 40 million streams between them. This year the band shared two new tracks, Heavenly and Dead Man Walking, as a first look at an album due in 2026 — the same year the group marks 15 years together.
Beyond music, the band recorded Legends Never Die with Riot Games for the 2017 League of Legends World Championship, a track that has since passed one billion streams. Against The Current have shared stages with Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte and All Time Low across headline runs and festival bills.
