Strawberry Fields' boutique offshoot heads back to Victoria's High Country for its 5th birthday this September.
The crew behind Strawberry Fields are sending Wonder Mountain back to Beechworth for a fifth lap this September, taking over the historic Tanswell’s Commercial Hotel for a weekend of live music, dancing and high-country hospitality.
Running from 11–13 September, Wonder Mountain’s 5th birthday edition will once again transform the 160-year-old pub — famously a one-time watering hole of Ned Kelly himself — into a multi-stage music event.

Since launching in 2022, the boutique festival has carved out a reputation for its eclectic all-Australian lineups, late-night dance floors and the kind of chaotic energy that only a heritage pub takeover in a country town can produce.
No artists have been announced yet, but if past editions are anything to go by, expect a mix of live acts and DJs spread across multiple stages and venues throughout the town. Think hay bales, cocktails, double denim and an atmosphere that sits somewhere between country pub crawl and proper festival.
Early ticket rounds have historically moved fast for Wonder Mountain, so those keen on a weekend in the High Country this spring would do well to lock something in sooner rather than later.
