Remembering D’Angelo: Birthday Celebration

On 11 February 1974, Michael Eugene Archer, better known as D’Angelo, was born. A pioneer of what would later be called “neo-soul,” D’Angelo crafted an uncompromising catalogue of music spanning decades, and for many, changed the trajectory of their lives forever.

Remembering D’Angelo: Birthday Celebration is a night dedicated to honouring his life, legacy, and music.

On D’Angelo’s birthday, join a 10-piece band of Australia’s finest and most soulful musicians, led by Jonathan Bufalino, and special guests JEROME FARAH, LUTHER and MICHAELA JAYDE.

Plus, come early and stay late for future-soul and house innovator TENTENDO spinning D’Angelo, Soulquarian and neo-soul classics to keep us moving.
