This Sunday we welcome Cuban Salsa specialists Son Quba!
Son Quba is a traditional Cuban band based in central Victoria. Founded in 2016 under the tutelage of one of Cuba’s national
bands El Son Entero, Son Quba has evolved into a 9-piece Latin ensemble that performs traditional music from Cuba, as well as
their own inspired compositions. Son Quba has built their experience as performers with regular gigs at local festivals and live
music venues solidifying themselves as an integral part of the Castlemaine community. Fresh off the boat from a month-long
intensive in Cuba, playing with a selection of professional bands in 6 cities across the island, Son Quba returns to Australia with
a fresh and vibrant sound.
