The set list will be fluid, the chat unplanned, and the vibe informal. He plans to wear shoes.

Drawing from his 2020 studio album Apart Together, his acclaimed musicals Matilda and Groundhog Day, as well as his TV and film writing, Tim Minchin’s setlist will be a fluid mixture of brilliance. Not to mention, he’ll be showcasing some of his early songwriting gems from around the turn of the century, giving fans a glimpse into his musical evolution.
Tim Minchin’s national tour in 2019, BACK, marked his triumphant return to the Australian stage after over a decade. The tour was met with overwhelming demand, with tickets selling out in record time. It garnered praise from fans and critics alike, leading to Minchin bagging the prestigious Helpmann Award for Best Australian Contemporary Comedy. Such was the fervour that an Encore tour was announced, which finally played across the country in 2021, further cementing his position as a true musical genius and comedic mastermind.
