Posters, books, cinema memorabilia and more spanning the historic theatre’s 32 years of operation will be up for grabs, as well as that famous Astor choc ice. The garage sale comes at the end of a long period of uncertainty about the future of the theatre, which is now closed for repairs and maintenance. Palace Cinemas will take over operations when it opens again in June 2015.
