Frente! is an Australian band that emerged in the late 80s and quickly earned a reputation for its genre-bending sound. Melding together folk, pop, and rock elements, their music creates an otherworldly vibe that is hard to forget.
But what truly sets them apart is the enchanting vocals of lead singer Angie Hart, which have captivated listeners for decades. The band’s cover of New Order’s Bizarre Love Triangle in 1992 propelled them to international fame, while their debut album Marvin the Album solidified their status as an influential group. Despite going on hiatus in the early 2000s, Frente!’s music continues to enchant and inspire fans of indie and alternative rock.
It all goes down on May 6 at The Corner Hotel. Grab tickets by heading here.
