Equal parts British Invasion, Britpop and Melbourne jangle, Steppin’ Off is a fairly turgid meander from some dumb boys singing about a ‘bad’ girl who stays out all night. Musically weak and in poor lyrical taste, Peak Twins are splashing about in the rancid dregs of our fair town’s fertile garage productions of the past few years.
