Reporting to and working closely with our National Mens and Womens Visual Merchandiser Managers (NVMM) you will be responsible for the following:

Developing merchandising training strategies/workshops at store level, with NVMM’s to maximise sales according to individual store requirements and demographics

Analyse & utilise sales reports to best direct VM teams & sales teams on product moves and changes needed

Develop new season merchandising layout in store with NVMM to apply to store communications

Monitoring stock levels and communicating suggestions of consolidation with Regional Managers

Communicate and support company wide initiatives & directives and insure directives are implemented according to GPG standards within cluster

Manage Weekly VM Cluster conference calls and report back to NVMM

Train & educate VM team members within cluster & play a key role in their development

Co manage with the NVMM’s new store/refits openings & installations within their cluster

Merchandise booklet training to be run every three weeks

VM Cluster Manager to be involved with NVMM’s on VM Seasonal Training programs

Maintain up to date product knowledge & stay adhered to global & local trends and execute trends when needed within the stores

Identify areas for VM process improvement

As a key member of our VM team, this role is responsible for continually finding new and innovative ways to engage our audience through unique presentation of product and store layout and design. Put simply, drawing people off the streets and into our stores to maximise the exposure we receive to convert to sales and profit.

We’re looking for the type of person who is known for having big ideas that disrupt the average and enjoys getting the most out of every opportunity but who can combine this creativity with the ability to manage multiple projects while executing them with excellence.

To be successful in this role you will possess;

2-3 years Visual Merchandising Management/ Supervisory experience across multiple clothing apparel stores

Experience in a fast paced environment; being able to manage multiple tasks

The ability to throw out new and creative ideas

Strong verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, strong planning and organising skills, the ability to train and develop team members in VM, confidence in Microsoft Office with experience in Adobe & Photoshop (preferred) and a track record of delivering results above and beyond what’s expected are all essential.

Own car is a necessity as there will be a requirement to travel between stores.
