Taken from Miss Elm’s self-titled EP, Bittersweet is an airy, musical-influenced pop tune with a quirky kind of charm. Miss Elm, aka Erin Harrington, shares her arty folk aesthetic with fellow Brisbanian Katie Miller-Heideke, but her song suffers from being a bit sweeter and slightly less angular. It’s cute, but skates worryingly close to Frente territory.
