I guess our influences would be bands like Tool, Kyuss, Rage Against the Machine, Downset, hard hitting bands that have passion, good songwriting & a positive message.
What do you love about making music?
Top of the list, playing live, nothing better.
What do you hate about the music industry?
Lots of things.
If you could travel back in time and show one of your musical heroes your stuff, who would it be and why?
Good question, I would like to show anyone that would be willing to listen to it.
Maybe Bill Hicks, I think he would really dig it.
If you could assassinate one person or band from popular music, who would it and why?
Bob Dylan. Because that would piss my cousin Reece right off.
What can a punter expect from your live show?
Live, loud, heavy rock music. People head banging, flashing lights, smoke machine. That sort of thing.
What’ve you got to sell CD-wise?
Our debut EP is for sale online at ragingbullau.bandcamp.com. The CD is in press and will be available at the first show of our launch tour.
When’s the gig and with who?
The launch tour kicks off on Friday September 9 at the Saloon Bar in Traralgon from 8pm. We’re are so happy to have the support of some truly awesome & original bands: Sons of Abraham, Mondegreen and The Thieving Gypsies.
