Define your genre in five words or less:

Party rock, punk, pop.

So, someone is walking past as you guys are playing, they then go get a beer and tell their friend about you… what do they say?

“This band has some nice bass lines, some cool riffs, a good singer and a tight drummer. They’re alright; I want to sink beers with them.”

How long have you been gigging and writing?

Two years.

What has been your favourite gig you’ve played to date?

We’ve enjoyed all of our gigs so far. We’ve shared the stage with so many great bands and been hosted by awesome venues. Picking a favourite would be impossible.

What inspires or has influenced your music the most?

We want to make good, catchy music. It should stay with you after the show, and make you want more.

What do you think a band has to do these days to succeed?

Play kickarse shows, sell some merch and have a good time doing it. And knowing a few people probably doesn’t do any harm either. Playing your instruments properly is good, too.

Do you have any record releases to date? What? Where can I get it?

Ourrecently released EP is available from our shows and there are some free tracks up on bandcamp.

Why should everyone come and see your band?

Because we are good, properly good.

BROCKWAY LIGHTS are playing at The Brunswick Hotel this Friday February 27.
