Partipants in Footscray Community Arts Centre’s Young Curators Program will work collaboratively to curate an annual program of exhibitions and events at The Basement Lounge at the Arts Centre. They’ll make connections with professional curators and share their skills.
The seven curators for 2011 are Katherine Dine, Ciara Glover, Brooke Hatherall, Chelsea Hatherall, Dua Mahmoud, Borkke Williams and Lauren Wraight.
The seven curators are looking for young artists living in the West to submit an expression of interest to exhibit their own work in any medium. The exhibition will be launched on May 27 – which is pretty soon!
