This July and August, ARIA award-winning modern classic Australian rock band You Am I will pay tribute to one of the greatest rock bands of all time, The Who, performing their seminal 1969 record Tommy in full, along with a set of Who classics and fan favourites.

Fronted by two of Australia’s most talented voices, Hayley Mary and Sarah McLeod, they will share vocal with You Am I’s Tim Rogers to bring the classic album to the Australian stage in 2023.

The massive tour will take the band across our nation, performing in Tweed Heads, Brisbane, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Frankston, Albury, Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide and Perth through July and August this year. They’ll be rocking through The Who’s fourth record, the amazing double concept album and rock opera that is Tommy, known as guitarist Pete Townsend’s masterpiece.

“A preposterous proposition of pomp, power and pithiness to be performed by our pop group with pals,” Tim Rogers tells fans. “We promise to plunder deep and perform in full plumage with no panache, just passions.”

It all goes down at the Palais Theatre on August 10. Find tickets and more information here.
